Hi!

Before AIDS diagnosis I was financially okay....not rich ,but ok.....then the s*** hit the fan..waited .....for DLA etc in UK.....well debts mounted...I was paying minimum for first time ever
.....well im going to be ok.....bit the bullet....debt plan.....today...light at the end of the tunnel.....going to take a wee while but ats ok!Yes its scary...but soooooooooo worth it.

Glad it's all coming together.  Budgeting my own finances was/is a difficult task.  I started documenting every dime I spent a few months ago.  I was shocked to see my expenses in black and white. 

I was so accustomed to having all I wanted that restricting my shopping was tough. Haven't purchased shoes for several months now. :(

I'm thinking of doing this very thing-documenting everything going out.  I'm sure I would be surprised.  But, it may be needed.

Certainly been there Brit, nothing like a manic year after coming off sustavia for plunging you into horrid dept. It all fed into the then out off control feeling---hated it.

Anyway good for you facing up to it early.

Cheers everyone!I've also learned a really good lesson.....its no good burying your head in the sand.I did it for too long.I didn't want bankruptcy...so this plan was   was the best option.

No one plans to get ill, i always wanted to try and work full time again too, but its not possible.....I will get through this.I already feel a huge sense of relief.
