Still in the Land of the Living
« on: September 21, 2007, 11:58:36 am »
Dear All:

I'm writing to you from a library computer as I have not yet returned home.  I have been with the friend who picked me up at the airport...and have been basically asleep since arrival.  Today was the first morning that I got up before noon.  I topped out yesterday at the crack of 2pm.  But I am bright eyed and ever so bushy tailed once again, and I look forward to catching up with the forums and all of you when I get back to my trusty laptop (most likely later this evening).

There are several PM's in my box asking if I have made it back and am OK.  I am home-ish, and better than OK.  I'm still in the glow from my trip.  The connection here seems a bit dodgy.  I have responded to several of the PM's already, but it shows "connection lost" after I send, so I have no idea if my replies to any of you have made it through.  Thought I should post this as a blanket response until I get back to my own keys.

I've also been doing a lot of evening reflection about the Gathering.  As I suspect many others have done, I intend to post some words about that later as well.  I am on a 30 minute internet account here, so best not to attempt any formal posting like that until in the comforts of home.

When I get to that, I will attempt more PM replies.  If some of you get duplicate responses, you will know why from this.  For others, know that I have read them all and will reply soon.

I love all of you folks and this experience has put me in a wonderful place spiritually, so I would like to close by saying something kinda warm and mushy.

Oatmeal.

Glad to read you are well-rested and recouped from the trip. San Francisco: wasn't it rich?
I was so surprised to greet you, Tim. Not what I expected.
More than I anticipated. Lots more.
Wish I could have found a quiet corner to speak with you for awhile but I never found that time to chat with you privately. A man who was in high demand.
Hugs,
Mike

I don't know about your being bright eyed, but I'm sure you are bushy tailed, if you've been with 'that' friend!  ;) It's good to hear you're home; I was kinda wondering where you were.

When you're ready to break the spiritual bliss bubble and blow back into comedic mode. Visit Off Topic Pork Your Pork. All I could think of was your damn avatar when I read the newest ultra-gross out article Matty honey-dipped from Teh Intrawebs. They're a matched set!!
