Brief insertive anal after ejaculation - HIV Risks?
« on: September 24, 2017, 09:33:54 am »
I had sex (bottomed) with a guy whose HIV status is unknown. We used protection but didn’t use any lube at all, so my anus might be irritated, and also it was very “wet” - it’s dripping some kind of clear fluid the whole time during sex.

He ejaculated on my body, but the worrisome thing was, he inserted his penis back into my anus after for a brief period of time (I’d say 3 minutes top) and this worries me.. I’m really scared i might be exposed to HIV.

A week (approximately) post-incident, I developed some symptoms that quite resemble ARS. Swollen lymph node on my right neck, fatigue, sore muscle and generally feeling unwell. I’m so scared right now.

I have planned to take a test at 6 weeks post incident. How big is my risk of catching HIV from this incident?

I can't speculate on odds, I can only repeat what you already know...
You have put yourself at risk and plan on testing at 6 weeks past exposure.
You will also need to test again at 13 weeks to confirm a negative result.
Wishing you the best,

Wade
