Lexapro & meds

Hi guys,
I went to a psychiatrist today and she prescribed me Escitalopram. I did not tell her about the HIV (I know, I should have). Can I even take this with my meds? I'm on Lamivudine, Dolutegravir and Tenofovir. If any of you have experience with Escitalopram, please share!

You really should discuss potential drug interaction with your healthcare provider (psychiatrist, infectious disease doctor, or whoever prescribed your antiretroviral regimen) or pharmacist rather than seek anecdotal information on the POZ forums (which really are not designed to provide medical advice other than to advise people to seek professional advice).

Yo tomo escitalopram y estoy en combo Tivicay / Truvada, no me ha generado ninguna interacción, mi infectologo me dijo que podía hacerlo y ya estoy indetectable. Espero te sirva de algo mi experiencia.

Well, I told my infectious I'm taking Lexapro and he told me there's no problem. However you should verify the drug interaction (probably we take different drugs) with you doctor. :) best wishes and I hope you get better soon.
