Title: UK female escort
Post by: eggnchips on December 27, 2009, 07:19:46 pm
4 weeks ago i had protected vaginal and oral with a female UK escort. My worry is that she was masturbating then put her finger in my anus. I felt it itch and slightly sore feeling after wards. the next morning I woke and wiped my bottom and noticed blood specks.I put my finger in out of curiousity and I found a little blood. I take it she aggravated a haemorroid. The act itself was probably about a minute or two and i am very very concerned she has massaged fluid in(even just that fingers worth).
About 8 days later I felt something on my stomach and 2 spots had erupted (similar to acne/folliculitis). that evening I had a drenching night sweat but nothing since. i still have the spots. I am hoping this was down to my anxiety. I am hoping the virus loses its effectiveness immediately once outside of the body. But if this is so how can needlesticks infect?
I am absolutely terrified and considering paying money I cant afford on a private Duo test. Please be honest with my risk..

You never had a risk of contracting HIV.

You don't need a Duo or any kind of HIV test. Fingering of any kind, including all of the details you have reported, would not put you at risk for HIV transmission. HIV is a fragile virus and is not transmitted in that manner.

The important thing in protecting yourself is always to use condoms for vaginal and anal intercourse. Sexually those are the only confirmed risks for transmission. Everything else is only risky theoretically.

As for your symptoms, if any of them persist you should discuss them with your doctor.

This is NOT an HIV situation. Period.

thanks- I wont serial post but last question(ok thats a bit double dutch!). To clarify is it the short period the fluid is outside the body that matters in nullifying the virus/ thanks to you all once again

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions, therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

Fireball, I just want to join Rod in telling you that you need to follow the rules of the site. If you had read the Welcome thread which opens this section you would have know that only those who are authorized can reply to members here.

Your kind of speculative, what if comments are exactly what are NOT helpful to people who are looking for solid responses to their concerns.

Don't do it again. Thanks for your cooperation.

Sorry i have tried not to stress but this is getting me rock bottom-the escort was black (if that makes her anymore chance of being poz) although she had a northern england accent. We did a lot of wet kissing and i also performed cunnilingus very briefly. The next day and for about 4/5 days after my gums were swollen and bled when i brushed. i was hoping this was down to the excess alcohol i had and the stress causing a dry mouth .But my head is very morbid at present and i cant shake the night sweat and spots. It was only one night sweat(no other fever) and 2 definite spots that I actually felt erupt after 8 days and are just fading now. Would it be usual for ars to last longer than 1 night fever? no lymph , flu sore throat etc..She definitely caused the bleeding i had and Im hoping it was lube in her vagina and not vaginal fluids that she had on her finger. Sorry for posting but my head is dizzy with worry right now.

Fortunately fears are not facts. You are worrying needlessly over an absolutely no-risk for HIV incident.

You ought to be discussing your symptoms with your doctor if they persist. Your head is doing a job on you and you are totally mistakenly connecting the wrong dots in thinking your symptoms have anything to do with HIV. They don't. And the race of the woman in question is totally irrelevant. More misconnecting of the dots.

Go see your doctor if the symptoms persist. This is not an HIV situation. Period. End of story.

Hi all, 2 weeks ago i had unprotected oral  giving & recieving with a UK escort (via agency). 4 days after this episode I had a sore throat, fever, shivers and my knee was giving way(doesnt normally happen). This lasted 2 days. I realise oral is very low risk but if Im the unlucky 1 in 10,000 can you get ARs within 4 days?
thx in advance eggy

Neither getting a blowjob nor going down on a woman are risks for hiv infection. Not only is saliva not infectious, but it also contains over a dozen different proteins and enzymes that damage hiv and render it unable to infect.

Once again you're worrying over nothing.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple.

The race of the person you are with is irrelevant as well as whether the person is a sex worker or a civilian. The only issue of importance related to the sexual transmission of HIV is whether you use use a condom during vaginal and anal intercourse.

As long as you are wearing a condom everytime  you will be well protected against the sexual transmission of HIV. Period.

Hi Im back..stupid i know but i cant shake the fear so plan to test this week(I think the NHS GUM is using the DUO). I respect your views on oral and have been heartened by reading the evaluation where 19,000 acts of oral were performed and not a single one turned poz..but can you pleasegive your views on timelines-if I developed a sore throat fever chills after 4 days is that considered too early seeing as you can start pep up to 72hrs? i have read on all sites that 2-4 weeks is the norm and 1 week the earliest;yet if you read some accounts of people on the living with HIV forum they say they developed symptoms after 3/4 days

We've given you our views. You were not at risk of HIV infection and you do not need to be tested. If you want to waste time and resources getting tested, knock yourself out.

Don't, however, expect us to get into pointless back and forth with you about "symptoms" and "timelines".

egg,

Has it never occurred to you that the sore throat you experienced could have been something like gonorrhea? Yes, you can get bacterial STIs from giving oral sex. You need to have that checked out.

But you're simply not going to become infected with hiv through going down on a woman. It just doesn't happen that way.
