Im Pissed
« on: December 20, 2008, 02:31:28 pm »

Can anyone direct me to a complaints department for the personals ? I come on this site to use the personals and when I finally make contact with a guy where we want to know more about each other I cant even depend on the site. I just poured my guts out to a guy about myself and spent 45 minutes on an message to him. When I sent the message to him the page came up and said that it had expired and to re-log in. So when I did i went to look if the message at least went through, guess what it did not, what the hell is with that, 45 minutes for ##@* all, just to have it go nowhere, what I have nothing better to do then type for 45 minutes for nothing....thanks for nothing Poz personals, what a disappointment.

Fos,

POZ Personals and the forums don't really have anything to do with each other. I don't even have a clue who has the admin duties for the personals.

Try sending an email to personals@poz.com

Good luck.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

even if the text you typed have disappeared from the textbox, it should be in the cache
You may want to try next time back then forward, and/or reload after a forward
Most of time it work but it is boring, and happen mainly here.

Next time try typing it all out in Word or other spread sheet then copy and paste it into the personals. That way you always have a copy of it if it should happen again.

Thanks Ann, I will try that, and thanks for the other suggestions too, If I had known that it was time sensitive I would have used word and cut and paste. If they are going to have a time sensitive page they should limait the charaters that one can time. Thanks again for all your help, I was just pissed and venting.
