All I ever want…

If in this life,
I could have one thing
That is important to me
Is to be a family one more time
Before I lay my head down
When I die
To be happy doing things
As a family we once where
The family we can be
Just one more time
All I ever wanted was acceptance
Not rejection
But acceptance was not yours to give
But mine
All I ever wanted was for the rejection
To disappear
Not reappear and hurt the way it did
All I ever wanted was to be loved
And return that love to the best I can
All I ever want is for us
To be together as a family
Before I die
All I ever can give was never enough
All I ever want is a white Christmas
With the one’s I love
With my family…

Hey Angel...

You have written a beautiful poem from afar. By sharing this with the others, it shows just who you are. Your heart is ever so tender and you opened up and shared with each member. Let our good energy fill your heart with gladness and in the midst of it all it will help take away all of the sadness.

I think the sadness I have is because years ago as a family we did mostly everything together going on holiday or be it dancing we love music and so did we love each other to such an extend that money got the best of most of them. Maybe one day they will see past that and be a family again. I always maintain that we should never forget where we came from to where we are heading in life it is just that our past is what shaped us but also remembering that the future is what is important.
