Recent surgery
« on: October 26, 2019, 02:16:24 pm »
Well, I had to bite the bullet, so to speak. I lost more than 50 percent of the use of my left arm, all because nerves were being pinched in my neck.
Long story short, a neurosurgeon went in through the front of my neck, removed two offending discs and replaced them with cadaver bone.
I am still recuperating, and have to wear a cervical collar for a while - which I don't enjoy. But I already notice the difference in my left arm.
So I am hopeful for a decent recovery.
It is appropriate that I had this done just before Halloween. I can now truthfully say part of me is the walking dead. LOL

Hope all is well with you all.
