Hi everybody,
I'm quite new to the forum so excuse me if my question below is already answered in another post.
6 weeks ago I had a sexual encouter with someguy I met online.
I performed oral sex without condom on him and vice versa. I got a little bit of cum in my mouth, most of it I spat out and rubbed of with a towel. I cannot say if a little bit stayed in my mouth.
Finally, I rimmed him for like ten seconds.
We didn't have anal sex, only oral and me rimming him.
About the guy, afterwards he told me that he doesn't have HIV or any other STD.
He was last tested 3 months ago according to him..and he was negative. But I don't trust him completely because afterwards it came out that he had lied about a few other things.
About three weeks after this I started to get molloscum contagiosum in the pubic area. A littble bit later I had swollen glands in my neck for like a day - 2 days max and a sore troat for the same amount of time.
I went to the doctor who diagnosed the molloscum contagiosum.
I never during this period have got any fever or headaches or diarreah or fatigue, vomitting,
The water warts are frozen by the doctor and they are receding.
But I feel so worried for HIV since I developped a rash on my shoulder since yesterday. I looks red but not like pimples or so.
Should I be ?

You did not have a risk for HIV in this specific incident . These are the risk factors for HIV .
Sharing IV drug needles immediately after use.
Unprotected anal and vaginal sex.
Mother to child during or shortly after birth
Very specific healthcare situations.
There have been no fewer than three separate serodiscordant couples studies (where one person is HIV positive, the other negative.) These couples were tracked for three. five and ten years. The couples used condoms for penetrative vaginal and anal sex, but NO BARRIER at all for oral sex. Any kind of oral sex.
These studies yielded NO infections.
ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED HIV TESTING AT THIS TIME for this incident , anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.
If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.
Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!
You can never trust what a person tells you about their HIV status because they could be in the seroconversion stage and not know they are positive . The only way to know your status is to test and not by what someone told you about theirs . As long as you are using condoms for vaginal and anal sex like I stated above HIV status isn't really a factor in your sex life anymore . Just get those regular sexual health checkups .

I got tested last week and I don't have HIV . Now I'm going to get tested for other STD's .
My life is back on track and I learned an important lesson !
