First of all I want to thank my family, my friends, this great community and myself for having back my smile :)
Maybe it's not already the same as before... but at least I smile more often... I don't think that much about my virus
and I am back in life.
Well, today I got my first results:
CD4+ 523
VL 210.000
Doc said it's ok and I don't have to start treatment. I think my CD4+ is good but isn't the VL a little bit high?
I mean I read that you guys have just <50,000 or even much less. I also asked about my percentage... he said as long my CD4+ are as good as now I don't have to care about the share.
What do you think?
Thank you in any case
Billy

It's not the lowest VL around, but it can go much, much higher. Trust me on that one.

Hey Billy,
Your CD4 is still looking good. If memory serves, you just seroconverted a few months ago, right?
That being the case. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see that viral load drop on its own within the next six months.
Hang in there. I'm glad you're smiling again! ;D
HUGS,
Mark

I think you're doing great. That smile is going to take you a long way. Yeah, your viral load might be high but like thunter says, it can be a lot higher. You will find for the first few months following your diagnosis your numbers will jump up and down, up and down. Not to worry.
As long as you have your smile, you'll find that HIV is no big deal. It's what you make it.

Billy, I agree with Mark. If you're fairly recently newly positive, your VL will almost certainly drop significantly before long.
And your CD4s are in good shape.
And your doctor is watching.
So it's a good Monday for you as far as I can tell.
Cheers,

Hi Billy (Wilhelm!? ;D)
That sounds good!
Hals und Beinbruch!
