Welcome to Do I Have HIV?

Welcome to the "Do I Have HIV?" POZ forum.

This special section of the POZ forum is for individuals who have concerns about whether or not they are HIV positive. Individuals are permitted to post up to three questions or responses in this forum.

Ongoing participation in the "Do I Have HIV?" forum (posting more than three questions or responses) requires a paid subscription, with secure payments made via PayPal.

A seven-day subscription is $9.99, a 30-day subscription is $14.99 and a 90-day subscription is $24.99.

Anyone who needs to post more than three messages in the "Do I Have HIV?" forum -- including past, present and future POZ Forums members -- will need to subscribe, with secure payments made via PayPal.

Thank you very much in advance. I apologize for the graphic nature of the following.  I just thought that the more descriptive tehbetter to get your valued feedback.  So, here is teh story. I received a massage yesterday...

() He was positioned behind me a few times.  He was naked and erect.  I clenched my butt cheeks/muscles together as he attempted to rub it on and around my butthole and lower back.  He said that he rarely produced pre cum.  His penis never went inside me or came.

()  2.25 days earlier, I had 2 moles removed, 1 arm and 1 upper back.  I told him about each of them.  I put a fresh bandaid over the arm and could  not reach the back one.  He said a bandaid was on my back but it was only partially on. I asked he not massage in that area.  Nether area was bleeding or painful. My concern is that what if he did precum or have his precum on his hand and it got underneath the bandaid on my back.

() He used a towel to wipe up my precum when I turned over.  he said it was a fresh towel. Iit did not feel wet to me.

() He masturbated me to orgasm using a lot of lube. Afterwards he tried to wipe me.  I took a shower there and poured liquid soap down my back and legs where his penis was at. I do not remember washing my hands. I had allergies and I may have picked my nose with my finger(s) later.  My concern is since this is a mucosal area, if he massaged my fingers and had his fluids on them, and then later I had to use my finger(s) in my nose, is that a portal for hiv?

() He kissed me a lot on my back. It felt open mouth/a bit wet. Is this a risk due to his saliva and my healing mole?

() He said he is negative, since tested he has only received a bj which he said was nearly impossible to get hiv from receiving a bj.  He said there was no risk because no fluids were exchanged between us.

My questions are based on the above, are there any risks, what are they, what is the level of risk and should I get tested?

There is no need for you to test, this situation has not put you at risk, please read the lessons here on how HIV is and is not transmitted.

If you are going to continue to be sexually active, and there is no reason you should not, then you really need to educate yourself on HIV...not only will it keep your stress levels low it will keep you safe.

Just to add to what Annie has said, the most basic thing you need to know is that only unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse are confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV.

As long as you consistently use condoms for those activities you will be well protected against HIV sexually.
