Title: Be The Change
Post by: tednlou2 on December 18, 2010, 03:23:04 am
Tonight, ABC News launched "Be The Change".  Over the next year, they will be covering important health and humanitarian issues, and how we can get involved.  Besides other issues they covered tonight in a one hour special, they covered the issue of HIV/AIDS and getting mother's tested to prevent transmission to their babies.  You'll see how daunting this is, as they have to rely on their version of the Pony Express.  It is a reminder to me to be thankful of the healthcare I do have.  By the way, since Louisville's very own, Diane Sawyer, took over the anchor seat, I've noticed ABC is doing a lot more of this kind of programming.  I'm sure over the next year, they'll be doing more HIV/AIDS stories.

I couldn't get a direct link to the video, so you'll probably have to click on it and then click "The Pony Express of Medicine"
