possible hiv transmission?
« on: July 22, 2017, 02:17:07 pm »
hi all  ;),

i'm French and i got 3 questions

1)i went to a csw. i asked her to suck me without condom (she talked very bad english) and she said yes.
When she was on top of me (i was lying on the bed), she took my penis and want to penetrate her without condom  :o :o. When i saw this, i said to stop and she took a condom.
i'm not sure if there was a penetration (i think not, but let's suppose that there was a penetration). If there was a penetration, it was a very short penetration (max 2 second).   (i have read that for a risk for HIV, there must be a long time of friction and that 2 second should be too short for a possible risk of HIV). Do you think this was a HIV risk?

2)the second time was an other csw.
the penetration was safe, but i've masturbated me with vaginal fluids on my hand.
but on one finger i had a band-Aid (a band-aid because i got a wound on my finger that was bleeding, it was bleeding since 3 days). after the masturbation i saw blood on the bed and i saw the band-aid wasn't on my finger.  Do you think, if vaginal fluids (in little amounts, because the vaginal fluids was on the condom) could be a risk if they went in contact with that bloody wound?)  (is it true that vaginal fluids aren't risky outside the body)

3) 1 week after that risk with the blood wound and 2 weeks after risk 1, i got 3 days night sweats, on the last day of the night sweat i got 24 h sore throat and i got 1 week hoarseness.
i've looking on the internet more information about night sweats and some sites said that nights sweats are always with fever.. some other sites (not many) don't give information about it.  Do you know if there is night sweat, is this always in combination with fever?

thanks a lot for your answer.

greetings from France

1)  If you penetrated her without a condom, there is a risk for HIV infection (a tiny risk, but a risk nonetheless).  If you did not penetrate her, there was no risk for HIV infection.

Receiving unprotected oral sex is not a risk for HIV infection, but could expose you to other STD's/STI's.

2)  This event was not a risk to you for HIV infection because the HIV is fragile and does not survive outside the body (the reason you mentioned).

3)  We do not assess symptoms on these forums because symptoms, as an indicator of potential HIV infection, are not reliable, since many people who are HIV infected have no initial symptoms.  If you feel unwell, see your healthcare provider for an appropriate evaluation.

Thx Ptrk3

S it possible that symptoms of acute hiv appears at 7 days? Or is it too early?
I've read that symptoms starts at 10 days of the risk.

You're welcome.

As I wrote, we don't assess symptoms on this forum for the reason mentioned.  However, it is not likely that such symptoms would occur so quickly.

If you feel unwell, see a healthcare professional.
