Title: So worried!
Post by: Worriedocd123 on June 26, 2013, 03:46:24 pm
I received a blow job (a kind of long one), and I tried to give him one, but only went up-and-down on him about 4-5 times before I decided I didn't like this and stopped. He attempted to finger me (not sure if he licked his finger), and attempted to finger me for about 5-10 seconds before i told him to stop because I didn't like it.

I finished on his stomach, and after that he finished on his stomach also. I got up and got a hand full of napkins and wiped up all of the mess and threw it in the garbage.

Is receiving a blow job a risk? Is my very brief attempt at giving one a risk? The brief anal fingering?

and last but not least, is there any way maybe some of his semen got on my finger and infected me through a small cut on my hand?

Do i need testing? Or can i try to forget about this?

Hi 123 , there was nothing I your encounter that was risk for HIV . The risk for sexual exposure to HIV comes from unprotected vaginal and anal sex , not from oral or fingering . You can relax and put this incident behind you now . Saliva isn't infectious and actually has property's that damage HIV and render it unable to infect , so licking the finger before using it on you or engaging in oral sex isn't something to worry about .

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED HIV TESTING AT THIS TIME for this incident anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

I feel soo much better, the internet is freaking me out! I really gotta try to push this out of my mind, and never search the internet again.

This is my only sexual encounter i'll have until I can get this anxiety under control, i never want to feel like this again!

Im so relieved, im just going to try my hardest to forget about this, and hopefully block it from my memory.

Thank you sooo much Jeff for this quick response, if this anxiety lasted any longer I might have to start digging because I thought it was going to kill me.

And thank you also for what you do on this forum.

One last question, does anal rimming have any sort of risk?

Anal rimming isn't a risk for HIV but carries a risk for other STD's , hepatitis particularly .

We take our work here seriously and wouldn't hesitate to tell if you had a risk so that you could test and get treatment if needed , it may prevent another infection too .

Rest assured you didn't have a risk for HIV .

Jeff,

Thank you so much for your time. Do you have any advice or tips for me to get beyond this encounter? I just cant seem to shake it or forget about it! Also, do you have any advice for how i can mentally be ok with no-risk activities without having another freak out like this? This makes me never want to have any sexual encounter ever again!

I think this is my last free post, so this will conclude my questions, and i'll just say thank you again for your time here on the forum.

You welcome , that's what we are here for .

It sounds to me like you could benefit from counseling or therapy . I hope you don't let this go and realize that if you still suffer fear from activity's that are safe that you have a problem that's not going to get better on its own . You deserve a fulfilling sex life and shouldn't settle for anything less . Best of luck bud .
