A Nice comment on Goerge Bush, believe it or not!

I was up late last night and caught A live speech by Mr. Bush. I don't know why it is, but when the President talks abroad I always listen. About 10 minutes into the speech at National University in Singapore,these words caught mt attention:


"It is to our advantage to put a stop to the spread of HIV/AIDS."

He went on to say that we have spent millions on it. Hard to argue with that.
So as much as I have bashed Mr. Bush of late, I thought I should give him some credit from placing the HIV/AIDS issue front and center on the worlds stage. I know it's nothing earth shattering here, but I have to give him credit for at least making an efffort to do the right thing.

I hope we all do our small part in keeping HIV/AIDS in the conversation. It can only help. Every little bit helps!

Jeff, his writiers were just having a good day is all....  Everytime he openes his mouth, I feel like his head might explode...  So I watch from behind the sofa.. ;)

I seen that too. He seems a lot more "mellow" and even more human looking since the Democrat tsunami. Could be new drugs?

Hey Jeff,

Indeed there are some changes that are taking place. in fact, there are certain agendas that need to be addressed by the Bush Administration. He is scheduled to be in Veitnam to talk on the very same issue of HIV/AIDS. It is in the Daily Kaiser Report.
