Hello there,
I am starting a new regime tonight. I was on Atripla for 11 months and I dreamt EVERY night. Several times the dreams were so real that I had to think myself out of believing them.  Even with Ambien I would get the dreams.

Some people say that they subside over time but this has not been my experience. The meds worked for me but the dreams were just too much.

Good luck with them.

tommy, my super-vivid dreams gradually wore off.  I enjoy them.  I still remember some of them but not all and no longer feel like I had just taken a tab of acid.  Anyhow, have you done a search on "Atripla dreams"?  There have been TONS of threads about them.  Good luck.

Yep.  They never wore off, had them all the couple of months i was on Atripla. Luckily they were not nightmares. Someone said that if you thought dark thoughts or watched scarey movies before bed, you would have nightmares and I did watch come dark films but still didn't have nightmares.  Other atripla users report nightmares.
If you find that Atripla still makes you loopy after a few months, you might be one of the rarer people who don't mix so well with Atripla.  Talk to your specialist.
