Guy,

Good lord, chill out! We'll get to you when we get to you and repeatedly posting will not make that happen any faster.

You have not been at risk for hiv infection. Sexually speaking, the only proven risks are unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse. You did not have unprotected intercourse.

You also were not at risk for other STIs during a handjob or tit-fuck.

If your penis or anus are bothering you, see a doctor. Whatever is going on has nothing to do with hiv.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO TEST SPECIFICALLY OVER A HANDJOB OR TIT-FUCK, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Chlamydia is not an HIV specific problem. Check it out with your doctor instead of self-diagnosing. And do yourself a big favor and stop surfing the net. All you will do is find fuel for your worst fears. All to no good purpose. You did not have a risk for HIV. Period.

PLZZZZZZ Help me!!
« Reply #6 on: March 03, 2016, 05:16:44 pm »

I am married andI had an unfortunate encounter 2 days back in a massage parlor. Had a brief 10 min protected vaginal intercourse(no oral sex involved). once done i noticed semen in the condom (which made me believe that condom was not broken). Probably after 8 hrs of the event, I noticed my penis burning which got aggravated in these 2 days and is still lingering. I lost my peace of mind and not able to accept myself for committing this. I have couple of questions:

1. Is a test warranted
2. Can a condom leak as i have not seen any visible breakage and the i saw semen in tact in condom
3. what might be the cause for my penis burning
4. is there a chance to get STI even you had a protected sex
5. Is any doctor visit warranted..

Please help me!!!!

HI, We do risk assessments for HIV , an intact means you were protected and have not had risk . Other STDs however are much easier to transmit and we do not discuss symptoms so please see your doctor for them.

To avoid infection,
You need to be using condoms for all anal and vaginal intercourse until you are in a trusting monogamous relationship and both have been tested for all STDs and HIV.
Everyone who is sexually active should have an annual exam and test for all STDs and HIV ,and always after unprotected intercourse. Always using condoms will give you peace of mind your tests will return with a negative result.

Best , Wade

If you are sexually active you should always do regular SDT screenings especially if you suspect you have been infected.

Hi Jeff I spoke with stdexpress health specialist he says there might be a minute tear in condom which provides a slight risk. Will that be a scenario. I am scared now. After the encounter I saw the semen got deposited at the tip of condom which made me assume that condom was intact. Also he told me to take rna test at 2 week mark which is accurate . I need suggestion from you. is rna test accurate at 2 week mark ?

Hi

You have not had risk for HIV.
If you decide to test for HIV despite not having a risk that it is up to you.

As for the testing time frames for the specific test used by that lab that is between you and the Doctor. Generally speaking guidelines are to test at 6 weeks past any incident and then at 13 weeks to confirm the result. Not that you need to specifically test as your incident was not a risk situation for HIV. You can read about HIV testing here:HIV Testing

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for all (STI's) sexually transmitted infections together.

If you are sexually active, it is highly recommended that you get a full sexual health check-up / screening at least annually including but not limited to hiv testing.

Remember that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's. So please do get fully tested regularly for all STI's including HIV and more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs. Also note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

Finally use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid sexually hiv infection.

Kind regards

Jim

One quick informative question . Please educate me and don't get frustrated on me

After the activity when removing condom, I saw my semen accumulated at tip. That alone confirms nothing is wrong with condom. Is there a way that condom leaks ?

Can we still get STI' s still using condoms ?

An intact condom means no HIV and you would have known if it broke . Yes … there are some stds that you can get despite using condoms for anal and vaginal sex and that is why Jim advised ….Remember that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's.
