Crowded rush hour bus from the railroad station, 7pm. Young couple early 20's gets on. Sweet enough. Stand really close staring adoringly into each others eyes. A few love pecks. Some carresses. Then long kiss. Then some quiet conversation. Then long french kissing and we can see the tongues. Then some more love pecks. More deep french kissking. And it goes on and on and on.

OK I'm sure I got sour grapes, but just wondering, whats your opinion on deep wet french kissing on rush hour public transport?

well, if someone else was doing it, I would think it was slightly inappropriate, a public display of bad manners.

However, if was it was me getting the action, I'd just think the rest of you, with your disapproving looks, were just jealous.

Deep kissing in a confined public place is not appropriate. I would liken it to blowing your nose at the table at a restaurant. There are worse faux pas but it is generally not polite.

Europeans may have a different opinion of public making out. I was at a park in Madrid one afternoon and there was a couple tickling each other's tonsils on a nearby park bench. The woman suddenly turns to the side, vomits into a bush, and without hesitation they go back to it. I was appalled.

Blondbeauty, I'm sure these people must have been tourists.

Get a Hotel room, would have been my response. I know one sure way to get them to stop - starting rubbing your crotch, deep breathing and rubbing up against them. Bet they would have got off at the next stop. And, if you really lucky, they may have asked you to get off with them.

If blowing is a no, no, can you pick it at the table like the French do? or should you just sniff it back every few seconds like the Japanese do? globalisation has a lot to answer for and has left me very confused.

I may have heard that in certain cultures this is actually a sign of respect towards the dinner host. Or maybe it was burping to demonstrate that you are satisfied. Meh! It's all biology, no need to be so squeamish about these things.

I suggest that one more voting option is added to the poll... something such as "at least it wasn't a blowjob" or so.

Years ago at the theatre, I had to sit behind a guy who spent the whole show licking the inside of his partner's ear. Neither of them were very attractive.

He freaked out and it was kinda funny . For a nano second I was like what the fuck but truth is I would swap spit with this dude anytime .
