I had a lap dance 14 weeks ago. During the dance, I put my finger into her vagina and then I touch her chest. I remember that I did kiss her chest a little bit. But I don't think I kissed the area where I leave my fingers on (the area on her chest). I didn't feel any pain on my mouth when I kissed her so I don't think I had any open sore or cut on my mouth. I did so many researches and the result that I found out from professionals about the chance to get HIV in this incident is - zero. But, I still did the HIV blood test after 12 weeks and the result is negative. However, I think I have some symptom after the test. I have a sore in my mouth and feel swollen on my face. It's been a week since I have the symptoms. So now, I don't know how big my risk is. I did my Test through Kaiser in the United States. Is that possible that I might get HIV from having the blood test? Please advice. I really appreciate you help.

Whatever your symptoms are from they have nothing to do with HIV. None of the activities you are reporting put you in any risk whatsoever for HIV transmission. Including getting HIV from a blood test.
The only confirmed risks for sexual transmission of HIV are from unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. As long as you consistently use condoms for those activites you will be well protected against HIV.
Read our lesson about HIV transmission which gives you all of the basics. You are worrying needlessly. There was never any need for testing in relation to this sexual play you participated in.
No risk. No risk. No risk. Got it?

And NO, you weren't at risk for hiv infection when having a blood test done either.
See your doctor if you feel unwell. It's nothing to do with hiv.

Thanks for the reply. I know I was a little bit over sensitive. But I am just wandering;
On one post, Ann has mentioned that to do the blood test after 12 weeks or 13 weeks (UK / US guideline) doesn't really matter since those countries are all using the same type of blood test.
But Andy always mentioned that people should do the test 13 weeks after the exposure.
So is 12 weeks really enough in US? what about a little more than 12 weeks, say 86 days?
Some research shown that less than 1 % people can't be find out as positive after 3 months but 6 months. Do people need to concern about that?

In the UK and most of Europe, the official window period is twelve weeks. In the States, it is thirteen - and the same tests are used in both locations.
The difference between the twelve and thirteen week window periods is academic. A full 52-week year has a total of thirteen four-week periods. However, to neatly divide a year up into quarters, each quarter must have thirteen weeks.
This is the sole difference between the US and UK window periods - a differing definition of what constitutes three months (a quarter of a year, or three thirteenths of a year).

YES! Twelve weeks is conclusive - when there has been a risk. YOU DID NOT HAVE A RISK. A test at anytime, for you, would have been conclusive.

I have this in my mind for awhile, which is from the same experience that I had described above. I really need to confirm if that is ok.
During the same lap dance experience, I was wearing my underwear and pants. However, I unzipped my pants a little cause it's kind of tie. Her vaginal area was pretty wet while she was grinding on my pants. I know there was no direct contact between the peak of my penis and her vaginal area (because of my underwear and pants) But if the fluid from her vaginal area reach to my underwear, Is that possible that the fluid/(HIV if any) from there can spread to the peak of my penis?. Am I at risk?

No risk. You must have unprotected penetrative vaginal or anal sex to be a risk.

Why are you still worrying about this?
Whether or not you believe it when we say you had NO RISK, you HAVE tested CONCLUSIVELY hiv negative.
You do not have hiv from this wet lap-dance experience, no matter what the risk level was.

But what is in my mind is - Is 12 weeks really conclusive? If so, why some of the website mentioned that 12/13 weeks or 3 months can only cover 99% of the positive hiv, some people can wait up to 6 months to develop the anti thing to be discovered by the test.
That's my only concern.

The only people who MIGHT seroconvert later are people who are on chemotherapy for cancer or anti-rejection drugs following organ transplant, or people who have been injecting street drugs, every day, for YEARS. I trust you do not fall into any of these categories.
The bottom line where YOU are concerned is your test result is conclusive. You NEVER had a risk in the first place.
Post one more time about this NO RISK, CONCLUSIVE NEGATIVE result and you will be given a time out. If you read the Welcome Thread (http://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=220.0) before posting like you're supposed to, you will have read the following posting guideline:
