BTW, I think ABC News is just as stupid (for publishing that) as whoever laid off the Dental Worker. (Assuming he/she was laid off)

I knew those old dental dams had a use.  Aren't they supposed to be used when going down on a woman to prevent the transmission of STDs?  Maybe we should go back to using them at the dentist to keep those pesky HIV's away!   

What I find really stupid about that article is that there was no mention of the use of Universal Precautions.  I assume they truly are universal and in use down under.  Pretty soon we'll see headlines about HIV+ waiters and waitresses that didn't disclose to their customers.  Sometimes, I think the general public, which isn't too bright to begin with, is even worse off than I'd thought.

I know that my own writing skills suck.
I was just curious about the spelling because I've never seen it spelled that way. So I put it in my word processor and the spell checker said it was wrong. Then I looked in my dictionary and it didn't show it spelled with an "s".
But when I used Marion Webster Online, it showed "practising"  as a variant.
I wasn't trying to be anal-retentive - it just tweaked my twisted curiosity.
