James, you weren't ever in the woods. You did not have a risk. You need to go back to the "Welcome" thread and read the guidelines on posting in this forum.

i did not lose the condom on withdrawal rapid, it was left inside her meshed up into a ball, i had exposure, thats why i dont know how long for. the best estimate i could make was around a minute.. I know it was low risk, but low risk dosent mean no risk.

You can put all the spends on it you like, you did not have a risk. Learn how to use a condom correctly.

i thought exposure of the head of your penis inside the vagina was risk and significant exposure? even if it was for only a brief period?

You do not contract HIV from withdrawing and losing your condom. You might also look for smaller condoms that properly fit.

Is,

Regardless of risk or no risk, I do not expect your seven week negative to change. If you truly feel you were in there unprotected, confirm at three months, but don't sweat it. The vast majority of people who have actually been infected will seroconvert and test positive by six weeks.

sorry i wonder if anyone can reply to this question... I wrote it on an earlier post but it got forgotten:( Its just if any of you know???

i got given a negative result today at 7 weeks. Im so happy, Does this mean that im nearly out of the woods? Do you know the percentage of people that convert after 7 weeks? Also if this lymph gland soreness i have been experencing in my groin area for a month now was anything to do with seroconversion would i be producing detectable antibodys by now?

Once again thanks for all your help, you guys are so clued up with statistics and everything. My GP was struggling to answer my questions

James, you're just not listening. Ann has already told you she doesn't expect a change when you re-test. All but the very smallest number of those who seroconvert do so within 4-6 weeks after an exposure. And bear in mind, despite what your mind may continue to scare you with, we here don't really think you were at risk to begin with in losing the condom during withdrawl. But I am not going to get into further discussion about that.

In my opinion a 13 week negative test result at this point looks like a slam dunk to me.

As for your glands et al, talk to your doctor.

I'm also going to caution you that if you continue you that if you keep coming back with more what ifs and wanting hand holding you're going to end up getting a time out.

Congrats on your happy test result is what I say. Enjoy it.And get busy with other matters in your life.

thanks Andy,

Sorry about the last message i did not notice Ann's comment, i still thought no one had replied. My Bad:(

I dont need hand holding just hard facts and statistics to ease my miind, and i just didnt see Ann's post. I apologise again:(

Honestly you guys know more about this illness than the GP's and the healthcare "professionals" in the hospitals. They have no jist on statistics and numbers, and seroconversion and when it occurs.

Thank You for running such an informative and helpful website, And its a ime i will not forget.

James
