I would DIE for a set of Royal Crown Derby Old Imari

Here's the Sugar Bowl, but since the sugar bowl alone is $300 (used) I'll just marvel at the picture.

Wolf,

We weren't trying to upset you. Some of us don't live in the States and we don't know what the Sugar Bowl is.

I suppose that was our fruity way of asking for more information.

Apologies for any offence caused -- it really wasn't intended.

Best,

MtD

hey wolfter.

i didn't reply because i'm more of an Andrew Luck kind-of-guy (that guy puts Tom Brady to shame in the looks dept and soon will zoom past him when it comes to the NFL) so I was focused on the Orange Bowl.  But the whole BCS is screwy. Oregon or Stanford should be playing Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl. They're competing elsewhere.  That's blasphemy.

The whole bowl system has sunk so low that the Cotton and Sugar bowls aren't even played on New Year's Day anymore.  I can get it up for Andrew and the Pac 10 but the SEC and Big 10.....blah.

I think you're an Arkansas kind of guy so congratulations on the almost successful come-back.

Hi Wolfer...It is just like the World Cup soccer we Americans didn't understand and so we had a little fun back and forth and our overseas friends are having a bit of a good time with it, what Jan knows from the American Sugar Bowl couldn't fill a salt shaker!

But we love her all the same!!!  And Matty as well, we think. ;)

BTW there are so many college football bowls now, there were about 8 when I was growing up, now about 40 or so, I'm waiting for them to come out with a "Toilet Fresh Flush Bowl" already!!!

ps.

let me add that since the BCS took over I haven't watched any bowls because they're all on cable and I don't get  cable.  99% of my sports knowledge comes from on-line.  And 99% of that knowledge is sexual.  That's why I love sports.  The sexual factor.  The remaining 1% is just enough to allow me to keep up my end of the conversation.

robt

ps....Oregon is kicking ass next Monday.   Auburn doesn't stand a chance.  Not even close.

I gave myself a timeout as my behavior was totally uncalled for.  I've not posted in a couple of day and won't for a couple of more except this one to apologize.  I don't usually act in the manner that I witnessed and am ashamed of my response.  Not sure if something else was overwhelming my brain at the time, but I had no right to lash out, especially since it appeared to be directed at some of the very people I respect here.  Is it ok to blame it on the brain bugs?  In all seriousness, I apologize.

Greg,

Don't sweat it babe. By our standards that was hardly "lashing out". :)

We all good.
