             Anybody have any input ?

Do I need to see a doctor ? will it go away ?

Everything I am reading says KIDS   get  pink eye   ???

thanks ,  Weasel with the leaky EYE

                  Appears to be   conjunctivitis

I do know if it is conjunctivitis it is extremely contagious.  Personally I would get it checked out Carl because any eye related stuff (in and of itself) would cause worry.  Call the pharmacist at the nearest Wallgreens or Rite Aid to see if there is something they may have... also use a clean warm wet compress (wash cloth) when you wipe that crust out of it tomorrow when you wake up.

I had pink eye once.  Doctor did prescribe anti-biotic eye drops.  However, she did also tell me about a home remedy that may help.  Buy some Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo.  Put a little on a wet washcloth. Foam it up and wash your eye with it.  You can keep your eye open and the baby shampoo wont iritate it and will clean it out.

Good luck!

All I know is that back in the day pink eye was a GREAT excuse to get me out of work for awhile.

Nowadays I have so many more exotic infections to choose from that it has sort of lost its lustre...not to mention to job no speak of at the moment (which also has little lustre).

Sorry it's got you down, Carl.

But while I have your, um...eye:  it was a treat to meet you in Seattle.

I had it once...like being stabbed in the eye....hated the sensation and it lasted for days.  What helped were those prescription eye drops I got from the doctor.  Not too thrilled with the baby shampoo suggestion...I go for Big Pharma any chance I get!

I hope it clears up Carl.

Pink Eye must be treated. Not sure if you need a doctor but you do need drugs.

I hope you had your road trip already. If you did, that's good. Otherwise, I was gonna forbid you " to not to do" the things the guy did in the 'Jersey Shore'  when he had the pink eyes. :)

Hope you are feeling better.
