What is the mystery? If you have chlamydia then take the treatment and get rid of it. Yeah its the same treatment --- and even it were not, your doctor would know the specific treatment you need so just take it and move on.
Syphilis can sometimes be trickier for an HIV+ than for an HIV-.

Yes i had STDs when I was HIV-.   And STDs when i am now positive.  My reaction is to go to a doc and get treatment.  When I got Hep C I had to do some soul searching about my sexual risk taking but honestly it hasn't been a complete change of behaviour to avoid all risks of STDs. I am a flawed human when it comes to my choices about sex.  I was just thinking about it on the train home tonight, in fact.
