Wow, biggest cost increase I've seen. Preceded by a letter announcing that lifetime limits were gone, with other healthcare act changes.
Then letter to raise prices blaming it in part on healthcare reform.
Monthly rate about $450 to $650. Doctor visit copay $35 to $40. med copay 30 to 35. Med deductible annual from $500 to 575.
I'm grateful to have coverage. But wow, 45% increase??

(Partly because of some prior maneuvering by Anthem) the new health care law gives states more powers to regulate insurer premium increases -- including the ability to declare a rate increase unreasonable and not able to go into effect. You might want to talk to someone at the California insurance commission office -- just to see if you have any options.
