apology
« on: June 04, 2011, 08:27:22 am »
I suppose an apology and explanation is in order.  Neither of which I can express adequately.  I have no valid excuses for my reactions, but I have my own reasons.  I know why I reacted in the manner I did, but it’s not necessary to delve into this for justification reasons.

The easy answer would be to blame it on other people but that’s an external cause.  Ultimately, the behavior displayed was mine.  If this was a result of a perceived injustice, then I need to re-evaluate my own actions in this regard.

I do sincerely apologize to those who had to witness my venom.  It partially usurped all that I’ve worked to achieve.  This behavior never was, or never will be my standard protocol.

Being honest is not wronging others, continuing the dishonesty is.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts
