Oh, Ademas!
This video is the one I have kept in my heart 'cause this year (1985)  was perhaps the best time I had in the USA! I was living in Manhattan at the time --- loved it so much! ---  and was attending Columbia University.  Life in NYC was so laid back for me, since all I did was study and party... ;)
This song was the one playing in almost every radio station back then, if I remember it well!

1985 was definitely laid back,  but SO many parties- the best of times!
Was that when she was also doing the psychic commercials?

Ahh 1985... my freshman year of college, my first time getting drunk, which led to my first time having sex with a woman, which led to a life of sobriety and homosexuality... my salad days.

I never knew Donald Duck was gay but was watching this show on VH1 once. They said Donald Duck was a black man because he was always getting shot at by Elmer Fudd. They did mention that they thought Big Bird and Bert and Ernie was gay.

thank you for a wonderful memory.

I was on vacation with a new lover, introducing him to my family and friends in Chicago. We were out with one of the last people I would refer to as a best friend. He played this song on the juke box, grabbed my hand and danced with me slowly. While everyone watched two friends reunite, what they didn't know was that he was telling me that he was positive. We cried and and held each. He is now dead, my lover is dead but the wonderful memory of friendship and love will always live on.

If I could go back to 1985, make all new choices, make all new moves.... Would I ?  a few.... here and there... but in 1985, I was young...pretty ...stupid ... and broke!  Oh wait...I still am ...!   ;)

If they were all friends...why is that the only song they all ever made together ?

Regardless.... I loved the 80s... (except the being broke part!)
