Well, folks...I have had to cancel my trip to Montreal. I unfortuantely can not go because of work. I have a very intense project I am working on, and as luck would have it, it is the same time that some very critical decisons have to be made, as well as, a very important deliverable.
I am very sad that I am not able to make it up...I had to pay $100 to cancel my flight...but, just know that I will be with you all in spirit! I love you all, and again, I am sorry!

Jeromy,
Shit..I already found the spot for your kissing booth. >:(
Kidding aside this is sad to read you can't come to Montreal. :(
Kind Regards,
Claude
(Of course I wanted to be the first in line for the kissing booth ) :-*

We'll miss your smiling face! But I understand work has to come first.
Take care of yourself and keep us posted how the new job/home are going.

Dear Jeromy,
While I understand that work can sometimes intrude upon your free time, it's not like you just decided on a whim to go to Montreal and I'm disappointed that your management won't live up to its' promise for vacation time. I'm sorry, but all who think that work comes first: Do you honestly believe that your company would grind to halt because of one person's absence???
Your job will be there tomorrow, but your mental health is irreplaceable. Time off is your right and I suggest that you start scheduling some and then disappear for a few weeks. I'd also be questioning why I wanted to work for a company that was so cavalier about my having a personal life... but that's just me.
Worst of all is I don't get to see you again and these other people won't know what they are missing.

Hi Jeromy.
Joe's right on this one. It's not like it's last minute. Well, we started to schedule this one last fall, in time for the January calendars when people need to schedule their vacations. We will be doing it again this fall for next year and for sure, next year you won't have an excuse. AMG is nothing but friends being with friends and doing what friends do and the way we do it guarantees a good time to be had by all.
We will miss you....robert

Darn it Jeromy -- I soooooooooo wanted to see you again. Isn't there anyway that you can persuade your boss to give you the time off? I know you've just moved to NC and it's a new office, new bosses and all, but with your charming ways I think you could change their minds. No? Think about it.
I just wish you were going to be with us... what a bummer. :'(
Love ya,
Trish :-*
(who hopes Jeromy will charm the pants off his boss and be able to make it to Montreal.)

No, this just won't do......

Hi everyone!!
I am very disappointed, but unfortunately it's not easy as the boss allowing me the time off...we have had some set backs on this project I am working on, and every man hour counts at this point...we go live with a customize software package that will revolutionize the way we do business internally...
This was a huge disappointment for me...I so wanted to be there...and believe me there was a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye when I had to cancel the reservations... :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
I want everyone there to have a terrific time, and Dan, send me my t-shirts!!! If I can't be there, I will pretend I was! ;)
I love you all!
