hi,
I have had sexual contact with a SW, i believe, about 48 days ago. I was drunk, but remembered to use a condom. but half way through the course she pulled it off and started to give me a hj, i put put the same condom back again before I continued inserting into her (Stupid me). From the next morning after the sexual contact, I have experienced some symptoms. the first one was the itch around the tip of the penis and the urethra. I went to see a doc a week later, he said I had NGU and prescribed me Cipro 500mg for a week. I seem to get better, but the symptoms started showing again: Pain in the back and the abdomen, the lymph nodes, red palm and soles of the feet, itch around the rectum, tiny white pot on my lower lip, joint pains, muscle aches. I got my urine tested and the doc ruled out chlamydia, because there was no bacteria present in the urine, my VDRL says nn reactive. I can not seem to find the cause. now as I wait for a after-three-month HIV test. I just got worried.
do you think there could have been a transmission? ???

None of which have anything to do with HIV.

Hiv is a fragile, difficult to transmit virus. Nothing you describe is a risk for hiv infection. Please read the Welcome Thread (http://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=220.0) and follow the link to the Transmission Lesson and read that as well.
Symptoms, or even the lack of symptoms, mean absolutely nothing where hiv infection is concerned. Only the appropriate tests at the appropriate time will reliably reveal your hiv status.
You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL STIs together. To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with a sexually transmitted infection. Sex with a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.
Have a look through all three condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.
Anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.
If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results. Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.
You had no hiv risk in this situation. If you've always used condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, I fully expect any hiv test you take to return negative results.
