My bf wants to gain weight...
« on: August 13, 2008, 01:55:52 am »
:)We've been looking into supplements or regular foods to get some weight gain. He looks soooo sickly at times that it scares me. He's 160 pounds and declining...He works out, eats like crazy now that I've given him his pep talk. It's ok to lose weight, but sometimes especially when you have HIV you shouldn't lose too much weight, because he just looks so sick. He gets cold sweats or the shivers and it scares me.  It's like people are looking at me because i am thick and usually i don't care what people think, but i see it for myself. it's as if at one point he was starving himself for some reason. i dont' know, but now his weight is slowly coming back on. Do anyone have any advice for us as into gaining weight quickly and keeping it on.  He still has a good appetite though. I try to take him to the doctor, but he hates hospitals and we usually get into an argument over that.  I hope that everything works out though. I really want him to look more healthy. What should we do????

How tall? What was his highest weight? What's his natural body type? His familys body type? More details would help us help you.

hey country goyl ,

I have eaten  italian food for breakfast for years !

A big bowl of spagetti , a plate of Ravioli !

I eat like a pig and maintain my weight at about  220

I would LOVE  to be 165 , but at that weight I look

like an AIDS patient ,and my PARTNER does NOT care for the look !

But I will say I feel better when I weigh less !

fatique , depression , high blood pressure all go way !

Are YOU  more concerned with how HE LOOKS  or how HE FEELS ?

I'm for being thinner ,it just feels better !

best to you and your love ,

                                                                                 karl

:) :)Well people a lot has changed since the last time I've been on here.  My bf now is close to 200 pounds. He is taking meds and taking better care of himself. I love it! We broke up at the end of 2008, but we always talked on the phone afterwards. At the beginning of this year we both decided to talk more into the future. i was dating someone else at the time, which I've met off of poz.com, but that relationship came to a scretching hault when I found out that the person I was dating had been married before and thought it was nothing. I want my marriage to mean something. I think I also wanted to see if I was settling or was this the right guy for me. Me and E...OMG we are having the time of our lives. Now that we know what we did wrong, we are starting all over again. Starting off with trust, long conversations over the phone, pictures, and a little bit of cybering lmao...Its like the first time we meet every time. We stay two hours away from each other, but next year around this time if the Lord spare us we will be together once again. I dunno if I want to move to Montgomery, AL or let him move here with me in Meridian, MS. Things will work out. I just have a better feeling this time...laters and thanks!
