loving beer & warm weather

vacations are good. so cal got warm. i played with my kite on the beach. i also played catch with my football. my friend told me to keep on my glasses so i wouldn't look so intoxicated. it was shameful. it was 5 days later. today i rest. tomorrow i go back to work : ).

more like a good 5 days, lol. i just woke up from the last day of a long overdue vacation. didnt leave so cal but definitely left some of the conservative bullshit behind. i wasn't gonna drink again tonight ... but hey, i don't have to wake up for another 11 hours for work and im not ready to call this vacay and 75 degree night weather quits just yet.

here is another pic from the hotel in weho. just before we went swimming...again :). meet a lot of good people, won't be posting the pics here but let's just say it was awesome and the boys can party in ps.

after this weekend its back to business as usual (sober) until vegas!

so i'm drunk...again. and i have to be at work in 6.5 hours. can you say cafe americano and 7/11 or the mutha fucking equivalent. i met so many awesome people tonight. or i was fucking drunk off my ass. or both. the last week has been amazing. while it was a vacation for my HOTTTT friend, it also helped me move forward with my love life.

he told me i was a catch. i was responded "in certain lights and situations." but still, i feel good...much better about tomorrow. even though i was dumped by someone who realized they needed more...i'm still pretty cool. i work hard, i work out, and i'm an amazing sounding board. and even beyond that, i care deeply and greatly about things. things that are not only important to myself..but from the bp oil spill to my 13 year old niece's growing pains. i fucking care...and will do what is in my power to move whatever i can forward to make it better (for all involved based on their input). did i say i was drunk and slightly stoned?

so, i'm piss drunk, slightly stoned...and have to be at work in 5 hours. should i do situps now or later?

the number one thing making work a living hell is work, lol.

i so needed this vacay. my friend made this time awesome. during the car ride back to my apt he gave me a much needed ego booster. started talking about romantic options, our jobs, cars and the fact that we were catches (i'm still trying to wrap my head around that last part).

so, imma gonna ride this good energy as long as possible. he suggested some simple life style changes and i'm gonna take him up on them.

queen - the fag in me made a choice a long time ago. on the nights that i plan on drinking heavily i chose early on whether my calories will come from food or booze. im mainly a beer drinker so ill stop eating heavy food early in the day and move to beer diet. my skinny friend that came and stayed with me taught me the value of lite beers. i've since made the switch.

my hard drinks also have minimal calories and i do minimal workout activities the next day also. so yes, i have adjusted my lifestyle accordingly  ;D
