Started Atripla a week ago
« on: January 29, 2013, 06:29:22 pm »
Okay so I just started Atripla last week. So far only had one day where I felt like a drunken college kid, stumbling and having the spins. Other than that things have been okay. My only concerned is a last minute work assignment has a group of us working an overnight, just for one night so far. I have never worked with any of these people before and I'm concerned of possibly suffering some side effects around them. My current coworkers only know that I'm having a challenging time medically and don't press the issue. Which I'm glad for. But how am I going to make it through? Anyone have suggestions?????

I have been on Atipla for  about 2 years now and am doing great, undetectable.
The first week or two it takes your body getting used to it as with any major drug. But then your system adjusts to it very well, as long as you take it on an empty stomach (at least 2 hours after eating somthing) and at bedtime every day.
Good luck, it's a great drug if you follow the directions.

I have been taking it around 10 pm but tomorrow I'm scheduled to work 8pm to
6 am.
I was just trying to figure out if I should still take it while at work or wait until I get home around 630 am
I have read online that there's a 12 hr window and also read that you have to take it at the same time. So I have no idea.
This shift for tomorrow night is something that I don't I usually don't work.

Take it when you get home before bed.  Whether that is at 10pm or 6am.  Dont be too concerned about what time the clock says, as long as you take it before bed each day no matter what time that may be, youll be fine.
Don't be fancy, just get dancey
