That I am not 5'7" like I thought I was - but am rather - 5'5"

Shudder.

I am such a midget.

Anyway, I was wondering how tall everyone else here is. xD. Just out of curiosity. I doubt anyone is as short as me. =(

Jaser darlin, you might be short(ish) body-wise, but you're a giant in mind and spirit and don't you dare believe anything to the contrary. One thing you are NOT is a mental midget!

And remember what we talked about earlier - Choose LIFE!  :)

Big hugs,
Ann
(who is also 5'5" and proud of it)

5'6",nearly 5'7",  depending on whether I'm having a Tall Day or a Small Day  :)

Small Days involve lots of slouching, leaning on things, & generally disgruntled facial expressions.  Yesterday was a Small Day. wednesdays often are i find?

5'8" here, but I still find seats in planes a cramped simulation of hell. And alas, I have no boobs.
Her finely-touched spirit had still its fine issues, though they were not widely visible. Her full nature, like that river of which Cyrus broke the strength, spent itself in channels which had no great name on the earth. But the effect of her being on those around her was incalculably diffusive: for the growing good of the world is partly dependent on unhistoric acts; and that things are not so ill with you and me as they might have been, is half owing to the number who lived faithfully a hidden life, and rest in unvisited tombs.

Indeed I am a member of the Lofty Folks Tribe at 6'4". Years ago I worked with a woman of diminuitive stature (5'0") who had the following bumper sticker:

BEWARE OF TALL PEOPLE FOR THEY STEAL LIGHT BULBS!

Which is true.

Hey Mousy... look on the bright side lil man!  At least to this guy, you look like Shaquile Oneal!!!

KATMANDU, Nepal Aug 30, 2006 (AP)— Nepal's shortest boy is waiting for word from the Guinness World Records, where he has applied to be named the shortest in the world, his supporters said on Wednesday.

Khagendra Thapa Magar, 14, is only 20 inches tall and weighs 10 pounds.

According to Min Bahadur Thapa, president of the Khagendra Thapa Magar Foundation, they are expecting to receive a reply from London-based Guinness World Records in the next few days. The foundation was set up to collect funds for the boy.

There was no listing on the Guinness World Records' web site on a shortest boy category, but Thapa claimed their closest competitor was 25 inches tall.

The boy and family members are currently touring south Nepal, seeking support for the foundation.
