Mamencetovi:
Hi all. Before two weeks i have received a handjob from a masseuse after the massage. The handjob was without oil and very aggressive. When i got home I saw a bleeding cut on the skin of the penis under the head. If she had a bleeding wound on her hand that come in contact with my bleeding cut on my penis is this a risk for hiv, do I have to test and can I proceed doing unprotected sex with my wife ?
leatherman:
HIV is transmitted by unprotected anal/vaginal sex or by sharing injection needles. You had a NO risk situation. HIV is NOT transmitted through touch or blood outside the body.
Be warned though. Unprotected sex with your wife is still unprotected sex and could be a risk of it's own.
Have a good day, Michael
Reducing Your HIV risks: With no exceptions, use condoms correctly and consistently for anal or vaginal intercourse Talk to a healthcare provider about PrEP as another layer of protection
Get tested yearly for HIV and other STIs. If you don’t use condoms and/or PrEP, test more frequently
Some sexual practices described as safe in terms of acquiring HIV still pose a risk for other more easily acquired STIs. It is possible to show no signs or symptoms from an STI so testing is the only way to know.
Get tested at least yearly for STIs, including but not limited to HIV, and more frequently if condomless intercourse occurs.
What’s the ONLY way to know if you’ve been infected by HIV or an STI? Get tested.

Thanks for the answer So even if the woman haves a bleeding wound on her hand while giving me a handjob with my bleeding wound and her bleeding wound get in contact that is not a risk ? Because i thought that contact between two bleeding wounds would be a risk for transmission of hiv ?
leatherman:
Nope. Outside the body, changes in temperature and humidity destroy HIV. The reason your body bleeds is to push blood out through the cut so germs don't get in. That's why I always point out it has to be shared injection needles....the blood has to be injected into you. that simply doesn't happen with two cuts touching... not to mention the air exposure.

Okay, thank you for the answer once again. I feel way better now that I didn't have a risk for HIV. Btw my wife is std and hiv free so no worries. Wish you all the best.
