Greg's daily Patio
« on: December 27, 2011, 11:06:52 pm »
I've been fortunate to get to know so many here in person, through FB, AMG's, and that's about it.  I'm creating my own post where I can just post useless daily info and know where to find it.

I'm ready for a dirty version of FB....within reason and according to rules and regulations.

Wolfie...who will someday post the beautiful winter topiaries.

is it snowing up there now? I kinda miss the snow; but this is only the 3rd one back down here and I'm still kinda glad to have 65 degree green Christmases too. :D I might drive up into the NC mountains in the next day or two to see the white stuff.

i'd love to see the topiaries

Dirty version of facebook might be interesting...
After discovering I was spending up to an hour a day on FB, I deleted my page.
Funny how quickly we get accustomed to spending extra time on the computer and don't even realize it.
(Now I take that hour for cam4.com)

Seriously Wolfie, it would be interesting to see your pictures of the day to see your view of the world.

Cheers from paradise,

I'll ask Ann if my winter topiaries from last winter are appropriate to post.  I smile whenever I look at them.

Edited:  decided to just post it and see if it ok.  Easier to beg for forgiveness than to beg for permission.  This is the flower box topiary my sister and I created for our mother last winter.  I have no idea why she didn't find it funny.

Isn't the "IGNORE" function back?  Perhaps it's time to utilize it.

I always thought a thread entitled, "My life in pictures/video" would be nice.  Since we all interact with each other on a daily basis, I'm always curious about the lives of members--nice pix/video from the holidays, vacation, or even just life around the house.  Some would find that boring, but I would enjoy it.

Thanks for sharing yours!  Love the snow people.  At first, I was wondering what they were doing.  I've forgotten what that looks like.   ;)

And those who find it boring can fast forward to another thread.  We do interact a lot and I enjoy seeing what's going on with everybody, and not just how it relates to HIV.  Hell, at this point, most of my issues with HIV are pretty much dealt with and under control.  I don't want to just fade away until I have another crisis.

The snowmen are examples of me and my sister's sick sense of humor when we get bored.  My mother really did not like it, but we got a kick out of it.  As they melted, they looked like contracted something.  Should have gotten more pics....

I certainly hope everyone has a great and safe New Year.  Working a double today and tomorrow and slipping some celebrating in between.  I'm sure I'll be sick of drunks by tomorrow night.  It's sometimes difficult when you're not one of them. :o

Take care all and don't forget to kiss your bartender.....

The new year so far has been uneventful but my plan is to set aside a weekend each month this year for some 'me' time to do something fun.  My quarterly checkup with teh AIDS doctor is Friday, so after that appointment I will head to the beach for a weekend getaway.  I may even go out on one of the casino cruises and try my luck with the slots.

I like the patio Greg... build a fire in the Chiminea because its a bit chilly outside.

Ok, Greg, do you mind if I come have a sit in your Patio and sip-on my favorite libation, I'd do this in the nude,  for your pleasure, but, it's too cold right now, maybe summertime would be more fun, if you'll have me  :D

If we would ever decide to have an AMG camping trip, I know a great nudist campground that's lots of fun.  Or least I've heard....  Even if we choose a regular campground, we could try to convert it.... :-X

;D anything nude would definitely spark Bob's interest for sure, camping sounds even better it doesn't have to be nude tho, reg-camping  works too, we could always find some woods are something  :P

There is a gay, nudity optional, campground near Brown County, Indiana.  They have camp sites and cabins--even an Inn I think.  I have not visited yet, but I hear they get a lot of visitors from Ohio for some reason---as well as from Chicago, Indy, and Louisville.  But, I've heard there is a larger than normal amount from Ohio.  It is owned and ran by a gay couple.  They had this very hot guy (not sure if he's their house/farm boy or what), but they have a great marketing plan.  They get him to approach guys at bars and give them info about it.  I was ready to go right then, but got ascared of being naked.  No, from what I hear, some go nude and many don't.  You're not pressured to go nude.

You can find out more at campbuckwood.com

I've often spoken of my friend Greg.  Where as I'm the reserved type, he was so outgoing and up to trying all kinds of new shit.  He finally convinced me to go to a gay nudist campground in Hocking County, OH.  I was terrified at first and thankfully it was clothing optional.  Well, within about 20 minutes, I was comfortable enough to be buck ass naked and enjoyed it immensely for several years.

I did check out the one in Indiana and that looks very fun and affordable.  I might have to schedule 2 vacations this summer.

I've been way too busy again.  I worked all freaking weekend and loved it.  I do have some great pics to post from the sudden warm trend we had.  I managed to get all my outside work done and polished and oiled all my tools....Anyhoo, getting really excited now that all is falling into place.  Kinda slowing down on my immediate obsession with finding my own place.  Mum is going to Florida this Thursday, so I have a smoke free place for a little while.  She is a living chimney and it's nasty but I live with her....for now.   Can't wait to clean every spot of this place again.  I pack away all her doiles and the ugly old lady shit until she returns.
