Beach Blanket Babylon.
« on: July 24, 2007, 12:28:50 am »
One of our options for Thursday night is Beach Blanket Babylon.  It is, without a doubt, the best show in San Francico, bar none.  The cast has  performed to sold-out audiences for the last 30 years.  I guarantee it will warm the cockles of your heart.

Ticket prices vary from $34 to $68.  A couple of us have already purchased tickets for $45.00 (plus a processing fee per ticket) for center balcony section. (2nd floor). The total for each ticket cost around 49.00 per ticket.  An internet fee of $4 is imposed on each ticket and a single $1.50 transaction fee to cover the purchasing process. Yeah, right.......but what ya gonna do?

Some of you have already expressed interest.  If you really want to go, then you need to buy your TICKETS

We're planning for Thursday, Sept. 13.  The show starts at 8P.  It's first come, first serve for the seating.  We plan on meeting in the hotel lobby at 6p. People start lining up AT 630P to pick up their pre-purchased tickets The doors open at 7P.  The show starts at 8P.  To sit together, we need to go together.

So if you want to go put your name down.  Some of you already responded on the Thursday Night Options thread but it's important you reconfirm here.

Right now there is Mike (mjmel), Nick (pozniceguy) and me (plus a friend who doesn't know it yet).

I just saw this last week and I laughed so hard I cried at times.  It's just a fun night!!!  Get there early it is general seating and they usher you to your seats in a group.  I got there 45 mins before seating started and there was already a line.  Be sure to pick up your tickets at the will call window and then get in line.  The cash bar is wine and imported beer, no liquor.  Several restaurants nearby.  Muni buses run right by the street it is on.

Have a great night!!!
