Oral Sex/Blood
« on: March 18, 2016, 08:05:04 am »
Hi, I recently gave a guy head, it is very possible that he had hiv. I sucked him and then we jerked off together, he came in my mouth. The next day I found phlegm filled with blood at the back of my throat. I have had the flu, last week I was blowing my nose a lot, which included a lot of blood. My doctor said that the blood that I saw (the day after the blow job) was probably from my sinuses. If that blood was there at the back of my throat when he came in my mouth (I swallowed), did I have a risk for HIV?
It was 48 hours ago and the window for PREP is 72 hours. Thanks for your answers. I am worried.

Hi ,All studies have shown HIV is sexually transmitted through unprotected anal and vaginal intercourse .Your mouth is a hostile environment for HIV and your saliva has dozens of proteins and enzymes that damage the virus and leave it unable to infect.

Giving a blow job is a hypothetical risk only.
It would involve significant open bleeding wounds in your mouth and your partner
have a high viral load. That was not your situation.
Test for peace of mind only or just wait for you usual check up . If this is your only concern you can expect a negative result.

Best , Wade

To avoid infection,
You need to be using condoms for all anal and vaginal intercourse until you are in a trusting monogamous relationship and both have been tested for all STDs and HIV.
Everyone who is sexually active should have an annual exam and test for all STDs and HIV ,and always after unprotected intercourse. Always using condoms will give you peace of mind your tests will return with a negative result.

Prep?
« Reply #2 on: July 27, 2016, 09:19:58 am »
I just had sex with a very well endowed man in a cruising area. It was protected anal sex and I was the bottom. After a while it felt like there was no condom. I checked and it had rolled almost all of the way off of thick his penis. When he pulled out it was covering just the tip of his penis. I don't think he came. It was still on but most of his penis had been inside of me without the condom covering it. I am aware this is a risk for many things but is this a risk for HIV? Should I go to a hospital and get prep? I'm nervous as hell and the only thing I'm certain about is when it came out the tip was covered with the condom. Thanks for any help or advice.

Hi
As long as the head of his penis was not exposed you were protected by the condom.
From what you described this was not risk for HIV.

Best, Wade

Nipple Blood
« Reply #4 on: October 17, 2017, 11:11:58 am »
Hi there. I was cruising in the woods and I jerked off with a guy. He bit my nipple in this process and there was a little blood. I do not know if he had any cuts in his mouth or if he was positive. I do not do anything without a condom as I try to minimize any risks. Was there a risk for HIV in what happened? Thank you.

Biting is not a HIV transmission risk.

I read your thread, really read back what the moderators have explained to you already and stop looking for an issue you do not have.
