What? No Simpsons Fans Here?
« on: July 27, 2007, 02:12:38 pm »
I thought I'd play off the Harry Potter thread with this title  :)

With 18 years in the making, I couldn't be more excited to see the Simpson's movie tomorrow.  I hear the first half hour is awesome and the rest...  Either way I'm sure I'll enjoy it, especially with a little green.

Is anyone else going to see this movie?  Any favorite characters?  I like Lisa Simpson the most out of the family but find Ralph Wiggum and Marge's sisters to be the most humorous.

Yay! Ralph Wiggum rulez!  ;D

I don't need another avatar right now, but check out the Simpsons website, there's a cute avatar generator for those of you who want to go yellow (without taking reyataz).

Don't get me wrong, I love the Simpsons but can their kids finally reach puberty? And the baby, damn, she been sucking that binky since the show started. Shouldn't she be like 6 by now. Likes the Simpsons but is starting to prefer Family Guy more...

My partner and I just caught the movie this weekend. As an avid Simpsons fan, everything stops in our house at 6pm, and dinner isn't started until 630, as I always catch the reruns, no matter how many times I've seen them. (The Treehouse eps are the best! Kang/Kudos 2008!)

I've never laughed so hard in my life watching this movie. Since laughter is the best medicine, I'm thinking I shouldn't have to take any of my meds for a couple of weeks at least. ROFL

Your Simpsons' habits sound an awful lot like mine.  At least with DVR, I dont' have to worry about the timing of when I see them, though I watch each no matter how many times I've seen them.

With that said, there will be a second viewing of the movie before it's out of theaters to make sure I caught all the jokes.  That and I'm sure I'll get the DVD  :)
