I think about meth the drug that I was using when I "decided" it would be a good idea to get HIV.  I think about how it is destroying the gay community in larger cities.  I think about what it was like before I'd never done meth, and wish I could go back to those times.

I think about how sad it is that I can't get a date as is, but if I add the party and play line to my profile, I have all the "attention" I can handle and then some.

For me HIV is 3 pills once a day and blood tests every few months, knock on wood nothing changes much.  Given a choice I'd rather be free of all traces of the scourge of meth in the gay community than my own HIV.

CJWAUS: Indeed METH is a substance that has altered the face of our reality in our communities accross America. For the record, it is a Death sentence that is wating to happen. Indeed a solution lies within the person themselves. It is unfortunate that it sometimes takes something on a drastic level to "shake up" that individual in order to regain their awareness of reality vs. illusion to get back on their road to recovery.

When the voice cries out for HELP that is when they want to HELP themselves as this is where the recovery process will start within them. There are a lot of emotional wounds that occur from this and it will take time for those wounds to heal within that particular individual.

HIV - accept it, understand it, communicate it, and maintain it with the effective medical solutions that are available today for us all.

Personally I think the more one fixates on the act of finding a boyfriend, the less likely it is you will find one.  All of mine have just fallen in my lap in the most unlikely of circumstances... elevators, subway trains, etc.
