'A Face to the Name'
« on: June 11, 2006, 04:31:33 pm »
Hi All,

I know its 'slightly' off any relevant subject but seeing as im the only Irish resident on the site (unless they all come out of the wood tonight!) and as I did say on joining a few weeks ago that I would post a pic here. While it was not a problem with the upload of the pic, im afraid to say that i got quite used to being Jude Law for the last few weeks (it was his pic I had up). So nice having that boy in ur face everytime u switch on ;D ;D ;D

The last few weeks on here have been a great help for me and I've learned so much. Great site, great help and great people, so thank u all.

You mean to tell me you are not Jude Law? I was going to apply to be your nanny. I guess you will just have to do. Welcome again laddie.

Hi Rob,

Does first generation American count as to coming out of the closet?

My fathers was from Spiddal and  my mother from Galway. I'm in sunny Northern California where it's raining today. June and rain???

Hey Rob,
I like the photo. Is that red hair I note? Hmmm, things are looking up around here.  ;)

I'm not Irish. Part Slovakian, part Welsh and a drop or two of English. I guess that makes me a mutt!  ;D

Living in sunny New Mexico - where it actually rained the other day. EEP! :o

If watered down kinship counts for something my Irish side hails from Limavadie (and the Scottish side from Ayre) with lots of descendants since in the US. To add to what Anniebc/Jan said. I was in a store once and an Irishman and I were having a conversation. He leaned over and said in this lovely brogue "just remember..You got your brains from the Scots and your temper from the Irish." I don't know that it's so but I do know plaid, barley, bagpipes and country dancing are in my positive veins!!

A picture always helps with the fantasies (LOL)

My BF talks highly or should I say largely about red heads  :)   Would like to see more of that tattoo!

Keep smiling :)
