test results within half an hour
« on: April 09, 2012, 09:28:21 am »
I am thirty plus male. It was february 16 2012.  It was the first time I went to a Paid Pros. Though I hugged her my semen came out before intercourse. I asked for a c0ndom before the start she said she had it but she didn't give. Only thing that happened was hugging and suking of b00bs. My semen came out instantly after this. After I got ejaculation I went to restroom washed it and came.

After this incident I felt fever, pain in my stomach and diarrhea. I vomited thrice.  After 53 days I went to a doctor and said whatever happened and asked for a test. He took blood and within half an hour the result was given and HIV was negative.

I think the test taken might not be eliza or western blot.

Can I take this as confirmatory for HIV status? I have told you the exact date of exposure and the number of days passed by till date.

Do I need to test again after a 3 month period / 6 month window period ?

Please answer me. Thanks a lot.

Note: I have been reading this forum since the incident happened. A lot of questions and answers helped me. However I feared each and every passing day. Since I saw a lot of replies to take test after 6 weeks I waited for 6 weeks afterwhich i met a doctor and took test today

Kilu, it's not absolutely clear from what you have written whether or not you had unprotected intercourse.

If you did not have vaginal (or anal) intercourse without a condom then you were not at risk. Nothing else you are reporting of your activities would have put you at risk.

A Rapid test is an approved test. You would not have been getting a western blot. That is only done when someone has tested positive to confirm the earlier result or to disprove it.

Please clarify about whether or not you had unprotected intercourse.

I asked for a condom. She said she had male condom but did not give it to me. I hugged her and kissed / sukd her breast. Since I never had real sex before in life with a female I ejaculated (my semen came out) before I could insert inside vagina. After my semen came I rushed to restroom washed myself and said good bye and came out of the place. This is what happened exactly. I do not know if this is protected or unprotected.

Also while sucking breast I doubted if something went inside my mouth or not. But no milk.

I hope I told everything that happened.

Thanks for quick reply Andy Velez.

Now my question is

Can I take this as confirmatory for HIV status? I have told you the exact date of exposure and the number of days passed by till date.

Do I need to test again after a 3 month period / 6 month window period ?

Please answer me. Thanks a lot.

Kilu, the only confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. You did not engage in either of those activities so you have no cause for concern for HIV. Nor is there any need for testing.

As long as you always use condoms for intercourse you will be well protected against the sexual transmission of HIV.

You are worrying needlessly this time.
