Sold two of my paintings (3 more for those who asked)

And I'm feeling pretty good about it..so, I thought I would share.

Painting is a hobby of mine but I haven't had much time lately, but I still try to keep my hand in now and again..I find it very relaxing after a long day.

Wow Jan.  Those are very nice.  I didn't know you painted.  I especially like the top one.  Congratulations on the sale and I hope you have many more (assuming you have the time to paint, with all the new kiddies on the farm)!!!

Those are really great Jan. You really have a talent. Do you exclusively do oils, or do you dabble with other mediums?
I have a ton of paintings my mother did. I love having them up in the house.

Jan, those are wonderful paintings by a very talented artist...You are terrific...Keep up the great work, as David said the first thing I thought of was Picasso as well...You are a beautiful artsist and person !!!

 Those painting are really nice.

  My four year old was painting a picture the other day and I asked her" Gabby are you making daddy a master piece?" and she responded, " No daddy this is just scribble scrabble!"

Jan,
   congratulations on the sale of your paintings! I especially like the top one, it has a wonderful art deco feel to it. I know from experience that it can be hard to sell something that you have created. My other half has convinced me to start displaying and selling my artwork. I did a mural this summer in a museum, and it came out pretty well, though we are always our own worst critics, and all I see are mistakes. I have my first public showing in November, and it's a bit intimidating. Keep the momentumgoing if you can. I try to spend most of my extra time in the studio creating. It's the best medication I know of.
