Need your opinion on oral exposure
« on: January 22, 2018, 11:14:43 am »
Hello All,

I am new to this community.
I am 25/M, Hetro.
This new year i made a terrible mistake and now my guilt is killing me every moment i think of it.
I went to a body massage parlor and received following activities from a girl (CSW).
"
It was a body to body massage but the girl was covered with her breasts exposed. I was naked and she was rubbing herself on me while also licking my body (feet, thighs, chest, nipples) then she kissed me several times on neck and I kissed her too ( I regret).
Then I got erection and asked if she can give a bj (my mindset was that bjs are safe) but instead giving BJ she licked the penis with her tongue tip and licked my balls (no cuts were there) and it was for around 15-20 secs.
I didn't notice any heavy saliva exchange because she only used tongue tip and never took it in her mouth.
Then she grabbed oil from a container near me started the hand job.
At the same time she was licking my left nipple (I didn't find any bit mark or cut) except a pimple that appeared two days later. "

after this act, almost from the second day onwards, i had UTI like symptoms and from 4th-5th day a sore throat, after two weeks the sore throat is still there.
My UTI was treated by a urologist by giving azithromycin 1G (single dose) and cefroxime axitil (500 mg twice daily for week).
Also have some pain in lower back and developed rashes when i was treating UTI (though my doc said that rashes were due to antibiotics).

However, my real concern is that

1. could it be an HIV indication ?
2. could her licking on body, chest, licking penis or me kissing her  trigger HIV to enter in ? i don't have any wound on my body.
3. Do you think the massage oil might have the virus ? i know it sounds so idiotic but i am worried on that.
4. My doc don't suggests me to get tested but he also said that the risk prevails. Is there any indicative test that i could try to check if i need HIV test or not ?
5. If not HIV (with willing of god) then what could be the reason for these symptoms ? should i check for other STIs ? My doc said that i have been treated for bacterial infections by above meds.

Thanks for the attention paid.

In short nothing you posted was how HIV is transmitted - Relax and move on with your life, you were not exposed or at risk from what you posted here.

Getting your penis sucked or any part of your body is not a HIV risk, saliva is not HIV infectious, it also contains over a dozen elements that neutralize HIV. Let me put it this way after 40 years in terms of BJ's there hasn’t been a single documented case of HIV transmission to an insertive partner (the person being "sucked") and you will not be the first.

The oil was also not a concern, HIV does not remain infectouise once exposed outside the human body so even if there was blood in the oil it can not infect you.

Take some time to read up on myths and the links to how HIV is transmitted but nothing you posted here could ever infect you with HIV.  https://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=68441.0

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions.

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

More information on HIV Basics, PEP, TaSP and Transmission can be found through the links in my signature to our POZ pages, this includes information on HIV Testing

Kind regards

Jim

Hello Jim/friends,

Sorry to bother you again.

After all the anxieties i have suffered, the worst January of my life has ended.
I have somehow convinced myself to get tested but i am afraid of privacy concerns.
Could you please share your opinion if i may try to test using a home kit ?
Are their results reliable enough ?

At present, i still have pharyngitis (red dots) mentioned and red bumps on my shoulders and hands are still visible.

I heard that often UTI or urethritis  gets accompanied by a reactive arthritis (reiter's syndrome) which takes months to recover. Could this pharyngitis and back pain somewhat the same thing ?

I have decided to face the truth and move along with it whatever it takes.

Should not bother again, i would only post the result in this thread for anyone else who might be anxious like me to refer.

Thanks,
A lone soul

It seems testing is the only thing that will ease your mind, and if you do it will be for peace of mind only.  You had no risk for HIV infection...none !

Yes, home tests are very reliable and you can expect a negative result.

Best,

Wade
