My one year old final test today

I haven't been on here in a while but. Hope all is well. I been so busy with a new home, job and watching my son grow.  Today we will be getting his final test done. He has been negative (birth, six weeks, 12 weeks 4 months) throughout the year when we tested. However, I get nervous of the what if. My husband has been great through all of it. I am very thankful for having him.

Hi Bee,
Congrats on the great health of your baby!  When I was a case manager at an ASO a few of my clients had babies, all of which are still fine today.  If you haven't gotten the good news yet I would expect a negative result.  I totally get the what ifs...I think I have had so many disappointments in life I feel either I'm going to jinx things if I don't have doubt, or I just don't want to feel let down again.

So, sometimes it takes other people to let me know I'm over-reacting a little and things are going to be okay.  Glad all else is going well!

Even though there's practically no chance your son is positive at this point, I know it is still nerve wracking waiting for the final results!  I have two children and their final tests were done at 18 months after the tests at birth, 6 weeks and 4 month.  Every single time I worried...and googled to et piece of mind. 

Have you gotten the final results yet??  The delay is also a good sign, because it seems that good news travels slowly when it comes to medial tests.
