Hey all,
Check out this new site http://www.thinkpoz.me.com It looks to be a promising alternative to gay.com, yahoo and AOL chat.

Well, I signed up but it took eons. The whole site seems to be bogged down from using Flash player on its pages. When I finally got the chat room to load, it was completely empty. :(

Hey Eric,

Someone mentioned that.  I'm surprised there isn't a chat program on here.

My feeling is that those responsible for the site don't want one.   The reason they wouldn't want one is that these forumns wouldn't be as utilized and it'd be harder to keep a group running.

Another obvious reason would be that others (like the dissidents, uninformed, etc. ) could all be online.   This would be the main excuse I'd imagine there is no IM.  If no one replied to forumn questions and comments and only IM'd each other then there is nothing left for the moderators to do.

Wesley

ps. I'll ck out the site and thanks guy for bringing it up!

Daniel, It does take a bit of time, but they are still working on the site.  They have regular chats between 8 and 9 PM so I understand.

I am glad people are enjoying thinkpoz.com.  I hope more people from here will come and take a look.  It's more than just a chatroom (video and audio chat available by the way) Its a social website for us.  It's very much like Myspace, with the ability to make your own page, with music, videos, a blog for you, and lots of other stuff, like emails to each other in the community and instant video and audio messages...its our Myspace...hope to see more of you...we are growing each day...so come by.

*UPDATE*  The chat has been expanded from 8pm to 11pm EST as a regular time.  As the site grows I am sure there will be more in the chat room more of the time.

Jeffreyj,

When you are signing up, there is a checkbox to hide your last name from view.
