Can Meds Cause Acid Reflux?
« on: September 02, 2010, 10:53:51 am »
Has anyone developed acid reflux after starting meds, or had an existing condition made worse?  I was on Protonix and it had it controlled but after starting Atripla I noticed the problem getting worse.  I wake up with the taste of the acid in my mouth, and now my teeth seem more sensitive to cold.  I'm really worried about the enamel being eroded so I'm seeing my dentist this month.

Every once in a while when I take my meds I will have severe heartburn, but by no means every time.  Maybe one out of 10 or 20 doses.
