My BF has Kaposi's Sarcoma
« on: February 28, 2011, 06:00:37 pm »
Hi,

I'm an HIV- gay male, and my partner is HIV+ with full blown. He takes drugs, but he has a rash on the left side of his chest which is probably Kaposi Sarcoma (they are raised and purple).

He likes when I kiss and suck his nipples, and I have pretty much stopped when he got the rash.  Are those Kaposi's Sarcoma lesions contagious? Like if I kissed him on the non-infected side, would I get sick too?

It can't spread all over can it?

sorry for the dumb question.

thanks

It's really hard to get him to go to the doctors for it. It was hard enough to get him to go on ARV drugs. In any case, is KS contagious?

Hello Silmeria,

If it is shingles, it may look like this: ( and they would be very painful)
