Title: Exposed with Foreplay
Post by: Javao76 on April 27, 2020, 08:10:00 pm
My possible exposure was with three different girls in separate days that I just met in a recent travel overseas. In all ocassions we engaged in French kissing with sucking of the tongue and biting of lips. There was no penetration or oral sex but there was mutual touching and rubbing. One of the girls was playing With my precum in the opening of my penis head after touching herself. I started feeling unwell since the very next day.

What is the chance that I could get HIV if there was vaginal fluid in her hands when she was rubbing my penis opening? Should I be concerned about deep kissing -saliva ?

Hiya,

What you posted is no concern for HIV, relax and move on with your life.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid HIV infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions.  Consider starting PrEP as an additional layer of HIV prevention going forward.

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as safe in terms of HIV might still pose a risk for transmission of other far easier to acquire STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

More information on HIV Basics, PEP, TaSP and Transmission can be found through the links in my signature.

Kind regards

Jim

Hello Jim,

Update- My doctor end up ordering a full STD panel since I keep complaining about all the malaise symptoms after my last exposure. Got tested for HIV 1/2  and other STDs with all negative results after 9 weeks.

How accurate are my HIV negative results after 9 weeks from the exposure ? Do I need to re-test at 12 weeks?

Regards,

No need to test or retest over this specific encounter as you did not have an HIV exposure from the event posted here.

Move on with your life and remember to use condoms for any intercourse. Test out of standard routine at least yearly for STI's including HIV.
