Thanks , I agree comprehensive review .
It's left me pondering about how much we expect off physical beauty , way too much loaded on it.
Best wishes

Insightful article on Ebony.com.

That is a good read , OneTampa .

I know love does not cure depression , my husband loves me very much  :)

Just got off the phone with my Shrink Doctor , I now have an appoinment coming up .

Being Bi-Polar gets to be a burdon , when I was young sometimes  going off  mental
meds just to feel what being " real " again would be like . It felt good for a while , then BOOM !

I have not stopped mental meds in over a year , I do go cold turkey . I miss having sex  :-[

But I now turn into a zombie <sp> ?   Death does not scare me any longer , not suicidal , but lack
of caring to live on .......

Hopefully  some new meds will improve my outlook .

                                                                       My thoughs ,  Carl

Thank you One Tampa, good read.
I stumbled across this looking for articles, feeds on euthanasia, physician assisted suicide.
Wanted to hear others' thoughts on these.  It doesn't seem to get discussed much, so I often wonder do? Others seek out info on those things.

 Thanks again

I didn't really search and seek things to read on depression and suicide. but know I was very depressed after dx and am just now getting better after AD meds. however I go see my ID Dr tomorrow and I know he will push me to go back  on meds and I know I need them but yet the fear of taking those pills every day and reminding me I'm hiv+  is almost more then I can handle right now.. I wish I could get over the phobia I have with  hiv meds and why they make me feel this way.. no one seems to know or understand.
sometimes it is best to say nothing at all. then to offend

It's an interesting article.

For myself... I wonder if their have been accurate studies to determine if a feeling of necessity is involved.  If there are higher numbers of suicides in rural areas as well as among single people...a possible connection is that a person can feel un-needed.  Mix that with the stigma that still follows mental heath issues as well as HIV status.

Bubba hugs.
