How much blood would be needed in the mouth for there to be a risk of hiv from a blowjob?

Hi I am very worried, I went to Thailand in January on holiday, I had unprotected oral sex off two women one of the women on abt 7 occasions, for sex I used a condom, I had a hiv test wen I come home mainly because I was worried abt all the stuff I have done in the past, probably slept with about 19 women unprotected, the text came back negative, but I was told I need to wait 3 months to be completely in the clear because of these blowjobs, I'm now severely worried incase I have caught hiv from these blowjobs, since I come back from Thailand I had a severe flu an now my lynth nodes on my ear an neck have swollen up, all the signs of hiv, I'm so scared an feel like my life is on hold, part of me thinks well I tested negative after all the stuff I got up to in the past so a blowjobs off 2 women I should be ok but the other part of me is worried because of all the symtoms I am getting.

I removed your two posts from someone else's thread where you originally posted them. You are not permitted to post in threads that are not your own. If you read the Welcome Thread (http://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=220.0) before posting like you're supposed to, you would have known that you needed to start your own thread.
You have NOT had a risk for hiv infection during the sexual activities you experienced in Thailand.
You did the right thing and used condoms for (anal or vaginal) intercourse. Condoms have been proven to prevent hiv infection.
There have been three long-term studies of couples where one is positive and one is negative. In the couples who used condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, but no barrier for oral activities, not one of the negative partners became infected with hiv. Not one.
Getting a blowjob is NOT a risk for hiv infection. Not only is saliva not infectious, but it also contains over a dozen different proteins and enzymes that damage hiv and render it unable to infect.
Unless you're in the habit of repeatedly punching a person in the mouth before they blow you, there could not possibly be enough blood present to cause the least bit of concern.
Not one person has EVER been infected through getting a blowjob and you are NOT going to be the first.
If you continue to feel unwell, see a doctor. Whatever is going on has NOTHING to do with a virus for which you have NOT been at risk. Remember, even though it's mid-March, it's still cold and flu season.
You mentioned that you've had a lot of unprotected intercourse in the past - you need to wise up and stop doing that because if you don't, sooner or later you just might not be so lucky and rather than getting a negative result, you'll get a positive result. Think on, man, think on!
Sex workers aren't the only women who might have hiv. You can't tell by looking at us and you can't tell by what a person does for a living, where they live, or whatever other things you might think show a person to be hiv positive.
I have hiv and I've never, ever been a sex worker. I'm a middle aged woman who you'd never guess in a million years is hiv positive. There are plenty of other women just like me all around the UK - and even in a place like the Isle of Man where I happen to live. Hiv positive men and women are everywhere, not just in brothels in Thailand.
Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.
To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.
Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.
ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED FURTHER HIV TESTING AT THIS TIME, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.
If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.
Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!
